From May 9–11, Maritime Media had the pleasure of attending the South Coast Boat Show 2025 at the scenic MDL Marina in Ocean Village, Southampton.
As specialists in marine photography, video production, and drone cinematography, we were thrilled to be part of one of the UK’s most dynamic industry events.
What we captured
Over the weekend, our crew immersed themselves in the buzz of the show—documenting everything from cutting-edge vessels and marine innovations to the passionate people behind the scenes. We produced a wide range of content, including:
- Crisp, high-impact photography of yachts, exhibitors, and spontaneous dockside moments
- On-camera interviews with boatbuilders, brokers, and boating enthusiasts
- Cinematic drone footage offering sweeping aerial views of the marina and displays
Why it mattered
This show wasn’t just about showcasing beautiful boats—it was about the people, brands, and stories that bring the marine industry to life. For us, it was an invaluable opportunity to connect with industry leaders, spark fresh ideas, and explore collaborations with businesses eager to elevate their storytelling through professional media.
We left inspired, energised, and proud of the visual story we captured—feedback from exhibitors and attendees confirmed that powerful visuals make a real difference in how marine businesses present themselves.
